Finals Again?

Oh the joys of college. I swear I should have done this a long time ago. Should have, could have.... I am glad that I am attending Kaplan University and I am one year away from my Associates. After that it's on to my Bachelor's. Finals are this week and they are hell! I am taking one of the hardest Criminal Justice classes so far. This year I opted to take Criminal Evidence and Criminal Investigations, creating a world of conflict between the two. I was so confused about what class I should be in and what assignments were due in what class. My academic advisor, who is a wonderful lady, has temporarily removed me from the CJ classes for the next two terms. Not for poor grades or anything of that nature but because she claims that I need a break and I should focus on other classes that don't require so much time and thought. What classes don't require this? You mean to tell me there are mindless classes that I can breeze through and not have to worry about deadlines, midterms and finals? Somebody pinch me. Please. I will be glad to have a break and hopefully I won't become to lazy come that time of reentrance to the world of college education. I have to say that this term was pretty thought provoking and I strived to make it to the end and I am almost there. Dad says to think about the reward when all this is over. Aside from that, some of the students were caught cheating on the midterm exam which ruined it for the rest of us come the final exam. It turns out that all the answers to all the quizzes, the mid term and the final were included in our class syllabus. I found it odd that our syllabus was a hundred pages long and it discouraged me from reading it. I am sure glad that I didn't. I received a 68% on my midterm and was devastated however, after the fact that there was cheating going on, my grade was pulled up to a 70% and our instructor graded on a curve and I received an A. I have never been so happy to receive such a low grade in my life. So, back to the final exams I go!
