The Myth of Aurmandor: Part 1 - The Taking of the Temple

The book that I began writing is a fantasy tale about elves. It has taken me three months to come up with names for my characters as well as the areas they reside in as well as castles. I will be posting these shortly along with the map of locations. It may take a while because there are a lot of characters and locations. I will not, however, post chapters on the book.

Augthead wants to take over the land by destroying the forest to rid the elves. His first plan is to take over the Temple of Velosoto in his homeland of Tobsolomn. The temple possesses a great power over all in existence. However, there is one problem; his father. Wighkar Guarluce has the power to control the Crystal Flame that emanates from behind the glass wall, up into the roof of the temple and shines a white light that can be seen at night. This white light symbolizes love, peace and harmony. There is only one other color that the Crystal Flame changes to; black. Black represents hatred, darkness and evil.

Augthead seeks a way to overpower his father with the help of the five wicked elves and Kerolaslin, the goodevil witch. The wicked elves give Augthead a magic spell to brainwash his father but he must use it on the 24th day of the month at the 24th hour. Augthead then seeks out Kerolaslin for a time charm that is sure to alert him when it is time to cast the spell.

Belloreh is a Master Swordsman who comes from the land of Tasmiere Lot; Elves of the Swords. It is a secret; that she has reached Master Swordsman. For woman elves are forbidden to practice swordsmanship. Her best friend Vexsei has become a Junior Master of Swords and together they seek adventures of sword fighting. Belloreh pays a visit to Kerolaslin for a simple remedy whereupon she learns about the time charm but is unconcerned, for she does not know the reason for its existence.

The three Kings ride into Krisameek Forrest to warn the elves of Augthead's plan. The mortals and immortals come together to fight Augthead and his army of Gnawsorgs. Whatever happens next remains to be told.
