Oh Those Beautiful Gifts!

Bello gave me some wonderful gifts for Christmas. He gave me this beautiful rain lamp with an lelephant and a palm tree in the middle. Oil slides down plastic strings (fishing line, I think) and forms little drops that look like rain. It is gorgeous! Belle gave me a food processor. I have wanted one for years. Bello also bought me some Creme Brulee mix with the little dessert bowls. I can't wait to make that. Yummy. I got a new cutting board, cookie cooling racks, pajamas, a HUGE basket full of Lavender bath goodies, lots of gift certificates, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. There is a story behind that one. :)

For Thanksgiving, we took a trip to my mom's (Layla) house for the four day weekend. When we left, I wanted to borrow her LOTR box set. She said "no"! I was appauled! I couldn't beleive it. That was the first time she has ever denied me her movies. Even her most favorite ones she has let me borrow. Anyway, it turns out that she had just bought Bello and I the box set a few days before and she didn't want me to enjoy hers because then I wouldn't enjoy mine! I am glad she didn't let me borrow it because I had yesterday off and Belle and I watched all three! Ahhhh....Mr. Frodo and those baby blues. Of course you can't forget Legolas the Elven Prince of Mirkwood. Interesting enough, I have began writing my own tales about Elves. It's called the Myth of Aurmandor. Maybe I might post a little teaser for you to read. ;)
