Caesars 24/7

There's this program on A&E called Caesars 24/7. It airs on Mondays @ 10 PM. It was a pretty interesting episode last night. I have never seen this reality show before and it caught my eye during the preview when they showed two girls cat fighting. Even women are fascinated (good or bad) by other women fighting. It's a whole drama thing. Anyway, these two girlfriends (I'll name them Jill and Kelly) decide to take off to Vegas because Jill had just broken up with her man of six years. What can be more fun than hooking up with someone on vacation just after a breakup? Personally, I'd rather go for the gambling than to find a man. So, the girls get all prettied up and head down to the casino to have a drink and gamble some. While sitting at the bar, a man comes up and starts hitting on Miss Brokenhearted. Let me make something clear, even though Jill was looking for a man, she did NOT approach this guy; he approached her. Moving on, he asks for Jill's cell phone number so that he can call and hook up later on after he's had some fun with his buddies. Jill says, "Can I have your cell phone number as well? We'll exchange." The guy cleverly weasels his way out of this one by quickly saying he needs her number and he has to go. He gets the number and takes off. A few minutes later, Jill turns around and sees him kissing another girl. Boy, does she get mad. Jill asks Kelly if she should go and tell the other woman and Kelly says yes. Jill makes her way over to the girl and the scumbag and tries to tell her what her man has just done. The girl laughs in Jill's face telling her that her man would never hit on someone ugly like Jill. Jill is shocked and Kelly begins to get upset. So, they continue to try and tell this girl that her man was hitting on them, all the while she is laughing at them, refusing to believe them. Kelly gets so frustrated with this girl because she refuses to listen, so Kelly takes her by the hair and tries to pull her down. You notice that I haven't said a word about the scumbag, right? That's because he is just standing off on the side, not saying a word and watching his girlfriend being humiliated on national TV, not only by the fact that the world has just witnessed him hitting and hooking up with another woman but being attacked by one of the girls who tries to warn her about it. The fight is broken up by security and the girlfriend tells them that she wants Jill and Kelly found and kicked out of the casino. Jill and Kelly head up back to their room and moments later, security is pounding on the door waiting to escort them down to the office for a little chat. Kelly tries denying that she did anything wrong but the whole thing is caught on tape. Jill and Kelly end up losing their room and the money they paid for it by getting themselves escorted out by Caesar's Security.

I can't say that I would have handled this differently but I can say that I would not have attacked the poor girl. I would have told her once and after she laughed at me, I would shake my head and offer her my condolences on her ignorance, wish her luck and walk away. I can only imagine her embarrassment and humiliation once she sees the episode, if she chooses to watch it.
