You're Never Gonna Get It!

Okay, so I go over to Robin's site to read what's been going on the past few days and she has posted this hysterical conversation that she had with her husband and son. It promted me to post a conversation that I had with my daughter a few months ago however, I feel it is an invasion of her privacy and as a mother, I cannot violate that. So I have decided to post something else that we talked about; boys.


Bello: Hey, look what I found.

Me: What?

Bello: That email you sent me about “10 Simple Rules For Dating My Daughter”.

Belle: What was that? For dating me?

Bello: Yeah, it’s something your mother printed out and gave to me.

Belle: What does it say?

Bello: Here, you can read it.

Belle: (She’s in shock after she reads it and repeats one of the rules) I have a shotgun, a shovel and a backyard?? Dad! I’m never gonna have a boyfriend!

Bello: That’s the point.

Belle: What do you mean? You’re never gonna let me have a boyfriend?

Bello: Nope.

Belle: Mom!

Me: Oh c’mon, Belle. Do you honestly think we would do that to you?

Belle: No. When can I have a boyfriend then?

Me: Never.

Belle: MOM!
