Tickled Pink

I was getting scared there for a minute. It seemed like the whole top row was perfect until they got to Nadia. I was a little shocked about that one but at the same time I was relieved because that meant that Scott still has a chance. Then when they got to Mikalah, I knew she was out. I just knew it. Her performance was horrible on Tuesday. Then it was Scott’s turn. My heart was pounding and I was sweating. I kept saying over and over again, “Please be safe, please be safe, please be safe.” When Ryan finally announced that he was safe, I let out a deep breathe, wiped my forehead and went back to watching a movie. But then, I couldn’t help myself. Here I am watching my favorite movie and I can’t seem to pry myself away from American Idol. I had to switch back to see who the finalist in the bottom three was. Again, I was not in any way shocked when they announced Anthony. We already had Clay and there’s just one Clay. Why do we need another one? If Scott were to be voted off, I hope it comes AFTER Anthony gets voted off. I feel for the guy with his throat surgery and everything but his violin just doesn’t sing that sad song for me like it does with Scott.

As we all know, Mikalah was the one to be booted off. I expected it and I am glad that it was anyone but Bo, Constantine or Scott. I wish all three could win but nonetheless, if all of them go, you know they will come out with hit records anyway and I won’t hesitate to buy them.

I still can’t pinpoint why I like Scott so much but Bello thinks I’ve become one of those crazed teen teeny-boppers. I am not! Just because I happen to like someone’s voice, doesn’t make me a teeny-bopper. I refuse to accept that label and I am throwing it out the window! I am a Scott Savol fan and damn proud of it!

I want to give props to Mikalah. She did a wonderful job and I think she has a positive singing career ahead of her. I wish her the best of luck and if she comes out with a good song, hey, I just might buy the album.
