First Dance

This year Belle is in the seventh grade and in September, she attended her first dance. We went out and bought makeup and hairstyle products to dress her up. She picked out this beautiful spaghetti strap dress and when she was all dolled up, she looked gorgeous.

However, when we arrived at the school, as I walked her up the stairs, one little bitch girl had the audacity to say, “You didn’t have to get dressed up that much!”

Now, I admit that Belle was over dressed but some people really need to where a muzzle in public. I can’t stand this little snob because she has this condescending jealous personality that makes me want to act like an immature kid and vomit on her. Belle used to be friends with her but she created problems between Belle and her best friend Ariel and that was it with Cruella. Belle and Ariel get the “look” from that little twat, as if she’s better than them. She needs a good smack in the face to bring her back down to reality. I have ventured off the story – you get my point; I hate the little….whatever…

Anyway, Belle went to the second dance, last Friday. This time, she dressed casual with a little makeup. I was quite proud of myself. The makeup was very subtle and brought out her pretty blue eyes.

I dropped her off and this time she fit in with the rest of the crowd and lucky for her, Cruella was no where in site.

When I picked her up later that evening, I immediately saw the look in her eyes. It wasn’t that of irritation or annoyance. No. It was the glowing look with that dreamy smile, cheeks flushed red and that little self giggle that wouldn’t go away.

Belle had danced with her first boy.

For the rest of the night, she couldn’t eat and couldn’t sleep. She was in Love Heaven; on Cloud Nine and wasn’t coming down anytime soon.

It was so cute to see her glow.

Let’s just hope that the “first kiss” doesn’t come anytime soon. That, I can wait for.
