Last night Bello and I were on the porch smoking a cigarette when out of nowhere he says, “Wouldn’t it be funny if we ran into Belle’s room and yelled FIRE really loud?”

“No Bello, not really.”

“You should do that. Go in there, shake her awake and yell FIRE really loud and run out of the house.”

I look at him like he’s a crazy bastard. Then we both giggled like the little sadistic freaks we are.

What kind of parents are we by thinking of doing mean things to our daughter?

Politically incorrect, that’s for damn sure.

Oh well, we can’t all be replicas of Ozzie and Harriet. You gotta have a little Bundy values on this Gawd forsaken planet.
