Sam Sam

Hi! I'm Sammy the Rat and this is my friend, Babar the Elephant. I love to chew and cuddle on Babar. I also love to jump off the couch and hide inside the dishwasher. Then I wait for mommy to try and coax me out with treats but I'm too fast for her. I snatch them out of her fingers and run back inside the dishwasher. Her reflexes kind of suck. Then she gets mad at me but not for very long cuz I'm so darn cute and she loves me so much!


I love it when mom scratches my head and back. I squeal when dad does it so I run away from him and go to mommy because she's got the sweet and gentle touch. I'm very spoiled; I get all kinds of treats like strawberry yogurt chips, granola, assorted nuts, cheese, crackers, carrots, and apples. I'm a little pudgy because I like to eat a lot. I steal food from mom's plate and pester her when she is eating a snack.

I remember one time when mom sat down on the couch with her plate of dinner, I ran up to it and snatched a green bean and then ran away as fast as I could so she couldn't catch me. I've also stolen a cookie straight from her hand but this time she caught me. I squealed and squealed because she was taking it away. So, I waited again for the right moment to steal her last cookie. I got it and ran like hell into the hole I made in the old Lazy Boy. Dad wasn't too impressed about the hole I made in the Lazy Boy but he did say the chair was broken anyway and needs to be replaced. So mom said when we get new furniture, I am banned from running around on it. Oh well; I'll just stick to my dishwasher hideout.
