Will You Just SHUT UP?!

Do you have one of those friends that calls you up and says a whole lotta nothin’? They jab your ear off for an hour and when you hang up, you scratch your head and think, “What the fuck did she say?”

I have one friend that drives me crazy when it comes to telephone conversations because she’s always talking about a bunch of people that I have never met. In addition to that, she talks about these people as if I’ve known them my whole life and talks about things assuming I know what they are.

“Jerry bought a shanny the other day and says it works real well. He said he got it at a good price and shopped around before he went back and bought the second one he looked at….” Blah, blah, blah fucking blah.

What the hell is a shanny and who the fuck is Jerry?

Next time she calls, I’ll let the answering machine get it.
