Sac is Wack!

I live in the Sacramento area and I can tell you that the majority of people who occupy this area are pompous nit-wits. I become so fed up with this area that I often kick myself in the ass for moving here four years ago.

If you are not a local, you can forget about finding a job here. The native Sacramentoans are so high on themselves that they overlook your longevity, experience and skills and instead, scrutinize the areas in which you previously were employed. Their reasons? People from the Bay Area are moving to Sacramento and are taking the jobs away from the locals.

Well boo-fucking-hoo.

You people voted to expand your area with housing developments and more businesses but when the people move here from all over, you deny them employment because they are not tenth generation Sacramento residents. Let’s not forget the fact that you voted against affordable housing because you don’t want “those bad folks” ruining your neighborhoods. Let me get this straight, you want people to buy the “non-affordable” houses but you don’t want to employ them and you don’t want “affordable housing” in your area for those who you won’t employ. Something’s not making sense here. You see Sacramento, you have to give a little to receive a little. Make sense? Or are you people just too stupid to understand that?

On another subject, listen up Sacramento, it is NOT cheaper to live here. Now go back and read that sentence to make sure that you understand. The only thing that is cheaper is the price of buying a home and even that has skyrocketed. Otherwise, rent, food and gas are not cheaper. As a matter of fact, I have recently read in the classified section of the San Francisco Chronicle that rent in the Bay Area is equivalent to the rent in Sacramento. However, the average pay for an Executive in the Bay Area is around 80k but here in Sacramento, it’s about 40k. The cost of living between the Bay Area and Sacramento is not equivalent to half the salary.

In addition to that, we would have never agreed to move here if we knew you would refuse to employ us. We need some kind of income to pay your outrageous taxes, which by the way, we were willing to pay so that you locals wouldn't have to go broke.

Wake up, Sacramento! You wanted us, you got us. Do yourselves a favor and start employing us Bay Area people. You think you hate us now? Wait until we leave. Who do you think will have to pick up the huge tax tab that us Bay Area folks were paying? That’s right, Sacramentoans, YOU!
