Rosie - O Donald

If the media would just shut up about it, this “feud” would not have escalated beyond the point of embarrassment. Then again, here I am writing about it myself. Guilty pleasures are always a sinful concept that turns that little spark in me into a raging flame. I can’t help it; I just LOVE gossip.

Rosie first makes a comment about Donald, who allowed Miss America to keep her crown after allegedly drinking under age, “[Donald has no right to be] the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America.” I disagree. Under what basis does this statement qualify as fact? Because Trump has filed for business bankruptcy? It certainly couldn’t be because he was a bad father considering his children are very smart, earned top grades in education and have not created controversy amongst themselves unlike most celebrity’s offspring.

So, let’s take a look at Mr. Trump’s bankruptcy issue.

According to the State of Indiana, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts Holdings, L.P. and Trump Hotels & Casino Funding, Inc., filed for Chapter 11 and agreed to operate under the supervision of the Federal Government, in addition to paying back it’s creditors through aged bonds. Once the bonds have been distributed, the company will be released to hopefully stand on its own. It’s true that Trump got away with not paying a massive amount, say 8 million, but that is nothing compared to Worldcom’s 103 billion dollar pay off. Mr. Trump hasn’t committed any fraud but Worldcom fraudulently over reported their earnings by 12 billion dollars.

What about the airline industries? What about them, you ask?

As of 2006, over half of the airline industry’s PAYING passengers have purchased ticket’s to sit in bankrupt seats. These airlines that use 9/11 as an excuse to gauge your hard earned money have stopped making their payments to their creditors which is freeing monies to expand routes and create price wars against their competitors AND THE BANKRUPTCY COURTS APPROVE OF THIS! The next time you’re on an airplane, think about this – not only did you pay for an overpriced ride but you are also paying for their debt through your federal taxes.

Well now, Mr. Trump’s bankrupt companies seem to be a minute “cha-ching” in the old Chapter 11 clause. Wouldn’t you think?

So Rosie, I don’t care for Trump either, but then again, I don’t care for you too. I admire what you do for Breast Cancer but your loud mouthed accusations are flat out annoying. Here’s some advice, Rosie (you might want to pay attention too, Miss Walters) the next time you make a statement on someone and claim they have no right to do or say anything, you better make sure that your reasoning behind your words don’t fall short of an erroneous claim. In other words, have a fair reason as to why you believe someone has “no right” to do something and then back it up with proof. Otherwise, you just sound like an asshole.

You too, Trump - calling Rosie "lazy" a "slob" a "degenerate" - no need. What are you? Ten?
